Dr. Mozelle Martin

  • Her professional journey began in 1987. Leveraging her upbringing in document examination and forensic graphology, Mozelle initially joined the military before venturing into the entrepreneurial world. From 1987 to 2023, she successfully operated her business under the name "Forensology," building a robust reputation and a wide array of clientele. As of 2024, she has partnered with Dawn (below) and rebranded as "Script Forensics."

  • Since 1987, Mozelle has consulted and trained various professionals, including those in law enforcement, mental health, and human resources. While primarily interested in personality traits analysis, she has also provided expert witness testimony in court. Mozelle has taught handwriting classes at two Phoenix-area colleges, focusing on adult education.

  • With more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field, she is a former Forensic Mental Health Professional (FMHP), having completed internships and practicums within jails and prisons.

  • Educational Background: BS in Forensic Psychology from Kaplan, MA in Criminology from UoR, PhD in Applied Ethics from Provident University, and was recently accepted into the Arizona State University's Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. She has also taken independent classes from the National Forensic Science Technology Center, Texas A&M, DITA Academy, RTI International, Forensic Training Unlimited, and the Center of Forensic Science.

  • Media Appearances: ABC, NBC, and CBS affiliates, Court TV, and was a consultant for the Criminal Minds TV show. Also mentioned in the US Sun, Daily Mail, The Mirror, Western Journal, and many magazines and newspapers throughout the decades.

  • Memberships: throughout her career, she has been a member of several esteemed professional organizations, including the Society of Medicolegal Death Investigators (SOMDI), International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts (IABPA), International Association for Identification (IAI), American Society of Criminology (ASC), Texas Association for Identification (TDIAI), California Association of Criminalists (CAC), Coalition of Handwriting Analysts International (CHAI), Southern States Correctional Association (SSCA), the British Institute of Graphologists, Golden Key International Honour Society, and others. While not currently an active member due to time commitments, her involvement with these organizations significantly contributed to her personal and professional development.

  • Nominated for Sheriff Eddie Virden's 2023 National Taskforce by CSI Sheryl "Mac" McCollum, she collaborates with other experts such as Dr. Ann Burgess, Peter Hyatt, Francey Hakes, Joseph Scott Morgan, Nancy Grace, and others. 

  • Since 2007, Mozelle has collaborated with non-profits, including the Find Me Group, Cold Case Foundation, and Cold Case Coalition, working on cases such as Isabel Celis, Mark Redwine, Nikki LaDue January, Ricky Dyer, Lisa McMahon, JonBenet Ramsey, and numerous others.

  • Founder of the grassroots Digital Integrity Coalition: a 2024 initiative to support professionals impacted by cyber-related offenses such as defamation and character assassination through empowerment, reform, safeguarding, and advocacy.

  • Mozelle's diverse client roster across various industries underscores her vast expertise in the field of forensic handwriting. In the corporate sector, she has notably worked with companies such as Geico and Mitsubishi Motors, providing expertise in internal investigations and human resource issues. Her collaboration with private investigation firms, such as Crescentini, Jensen, and SBI showcases her versatility in handling a broad spectrum of cases. Mozelle's involvement in law enforcement is widespread, encompassing a diverse range of organizations. Working with entities such as the Louisiana State Police, ROCIC, Interpol, the US Military, DuPage County Taskforce, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, her engagement extends to many other investigative agencies as well. Each collaboration is distinct and unique to their needs. Beginning her career as a Correctional Officer and later serving as a Pretrial Officer, Mozelle has established collaborations with a wide array of probation and parole associations throughout the United States. Her international reach includes the University of Hertfordshire England and the Mexican Attorney General's Office. This array of clients, both domestic and international, reflects Mozelle's significant influence and the strong demand for her specialized knowledge and skills.
